i am who i am who i am...
I'm a born-and-raised east coast Southern girl loving the west coast life. I love to read. I fell out of a moving car when I was four years old. I don’t eat the crispy ends of french fries. I try to be a good person and make the world a better place. I love to travel and am fascinated by other cultures. I like animals more than I like most people. I am either eclectic or eccentric, or maybe both. I love to laugh and be in the presence of laughing. My grandmother, to this day, tells me I should’ve been a writer. I believe in the power of exercise therapy and retail therapy as mind-clearers and mood-lifters. I’m lucky to have the best family and friends in the world and I adore them endlessly. Song lyrics and life moments exist in my brain interchangeably. No matter how bad of a day I’ve had, my dog can always make me smile.
When I first started college at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, I was a Broadcast Journalism major with dreams of being a broadcaster for ESPN’s SportsCenter. Although I eventually changed my mind and career path, I still love (most) sports and watch my favorite teams every chance I get (FC Barcelona, San Jose Earthquakes, NYCFC, San Antonio Spurs, Golden State Warriors...). I love fitness and challenging myself. You can often find me going for runs with my Golden Retriever along the San Francisco Bay Trail, and I just ran my first full marathon (that’s 26.2 whole miles!).
